Jack “Penetrator” Lipton - Bad Boy

Not quite sure why Jack is a “Bad Boy”, But this 4 Song CD is sure good so Jack is really a “Good Boy” for making this CD a really fun listen.

The Leadoff track, “Trouble”, an original half-penned by Jack, with help from engineer / producer, John Fannon, is the real winner here. It’s got a hook big enough to catch a goldfish in the Atlantic Ocean. Great tale of why Jack needs to stay home these days. Women, girls & more women will do that to ya.

This one should be on the airwaves, hope Little Steven gives it a spin on his fine syndicated garage show. This song is worth the price of admission and the other three ain’t bad either. Iggy Pop’s “Search & Destroy” is rockin’, “Get Off The Corner” is another fun original bout them bad girls who need to be good & the Ed Cobb / Standels classic , “Dirty Water” is well-played though you won’t forget the original.

All-in-all, this disc is a winner, nice crisp sound, well-produced & it doesn’t over stay it’s welcome like so many tooo Loong CD’s that are abundant these days. In fact, maybe Jack will add a few more next time around if we’re good boys. Three out of four camels (or 6 out of  8 humps) for Jack on his first solo outing.
